Give a critically ill child what they need

Matthew’s Story
Matthew is a 12-year-old with a wicked sense of humor and a great love for all things Star Wars.
The first clues were a mild fever and sore throat but Matthew’s mom knew something wasn’t right with her son. Within a few short months, his health rapidly declined, leaving him on life support in the ICU. His parents were now faced with choosing between providing for their family and taking time off work to be by their son’s side; an impossible choice no parent should have to face. Donations from people like you paid the rent and other living expenses for Matthew’s family so they could be by his side when he needed them most.
How We Work
Parents may lose income or employment because of extended stays in the hospital caring for their little one.
We help by paying mortgage, rent and other living expenses so the family is able to focus on what is most important; their child.
Urgent requests are brought to us by hospice and medical social workers. Our team works quickly to meet the needs of each family within 24-48 hours.
“We are so grateful for Maximum Hope. We were in such a tight financial situation that we wouldn’t have been able to bring our son home if it wasn’t for your foundation. You opened our hearts with your help and support. Thank you!”
